On Saturday just prior to our shower, I'll set up our group and "invite" you as soon as I've set up the virtual room and the web cam.

Another story of our cute Kimmy

I went down early last February to help with conference preparations for St. George. As crazy as things were the day before a huge conference like that, every time Kim answered the phone it was," Hello" in the sweetest voice you can imagine. That is the epitome of Kim.

I told her if she ever needed a job, I'd love to have her answering our phones. I'd bet people would call just to hear her.

Funny Stories

When Kim was first married she wanted to give each of her neighbors a special little gift for Christmas. In the backyard of her home there were concord grapes. Kim was determined to make grape jelly for all her neighbors. She picked the grapes, juiced them and made grape jelly. She packaged these cute jars and saved them for the season. Christmas came and she made a package of goodies, which included the jam for each neighbor. (about 40 or so) She delivered them and then to her horror she discovered that the seals on the jelly were defective. Everyone received moldy jelly from Kim that year. She had to call all the neighbors and tell them not to eat the jelly. To this day she has never made grape jelly again.

Have you ever mixed up daylight saving time? Since Kim has been pregnant she did. Instead of turning the clocks back, she turned them forward, which made her very early for church. Her husband insisted that she did not have the right time and had to convince her by going on line to the official MST site. Jeff, her husband didn’t think it was very funny at the time, but has now forgiven her.

What makes this babyshower all the more fun is that Kim has been married for 12 years and has been looking forward to this opportunity for a long time! We are so excited for her.

She is still in denial that it is true. She can not believe it!

We are here to help her realize that 'Mommy' is her new name.

SHHHHHH. Don't tell yet. And don't tell her I stole her cute picture off Facebook. ;-) We'll surprise her at the conference next week. We are going to have a fantastic party for Kimberly. And you are invited. This is the place to find out all the goings on: how Kimberly and the baby are doing, and what to do to get yourself invited to the baby shower to end all baby showers.

Here is what we know so far.

Kimberly is finally going to get to be the best mom ever.
Kimberly is having a girl.
She is due in February.
She has been really sick but the baby is doing well.
Kimberly is registered at Target.
Her Baby Room colors: Pink, Lime/Willow Green, and White (White Eyelet Lace).
We are planning a live shower in Salt Lake City in January (we'll keep you posted here)
If you aren't in Salt Lake in January, we'll have a virtual shower you can participate in.
I am going to do signs for the conference in Mesa next week so that we can get the whole genealogy community involved. Because there is no one who doesn't love Kim.

Kimberly has always been the sweetest person to work with. And she is going to be a fantastic Mom. Come join the celebration.
